![]() Glaucoma is a word we hear a lot when it comes to vision, but do you know what it is? Glaucoma is a condition of increased pressure within your eye resulting in a gradual loss of sight. This disease damages your eye’s optic nerve and usually results when fluid builds up at the front of the eyeball because of lack of circulation. The excess fluid creates pressure within the eye, damaging the optic nerve. This condition can be prevented with early detection and treatment.
