Dr. Annette Brabham, O.D.
Dr. Annette Brabham has strong roots in the Gulf South. She was born and raised in Valparaiso and is a graduate of Niceville High School where her love of science prompted her to attend the University of Montevallo.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, Dr. Annette Brabham worked as an environmental chemist in south Florida and later as a research assistant with the U.S. Department of Agriculture. |
With 8 years of chemistry under her belt, Dr. Brabham decided to pursue an earlier passion and was accepted to Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She graduated in 1991. After practicing optometry in Alabama and Pensacola, Dr. Brabham felt the tug of her hometown. She returned to Niceville/Valparaiso in 1997 to open her own practice. She spends most of her free time taking advantage of the great outdoor activities in the area, such as canoeing on Econfina Creek, hiking in Torreya State Park, and SCUBA diving in local springs and the Gulf. Dr. Annette Brabham is hands-on, from baking her own bread to gardening to renovating her kitchen herself.
