Safety First at Bayside Vision During The COVID 19 Pandemic
Our Plan to Keep Both Patients and Staff Safe

The safety of our families, patients, and staff is our primary concern. We want to make you aware of what we are doing at Bayside Vision to make you and our staff safe during the COVID 19 Pandemic.
New Procedures
We have instituted disinfection schedules where our team members clean all touch surfaces throughout the day whether someone touches the surface or not. We also clean all surfaces touched by our patients as they leave an area. This includes cleaning each designated surface in our exam rooms after each exam, the testing equipment, front desk, reception room, and optical area. However, in many cases surfaces will be cleaned before and after each patient. No need to worry about trying on glasses, each frame will be disinfected after each touch and prior to returning to the display.
During your visit
Please call or text us from your car or our new outside reception area when you arrive and we will escort you in when it is time for you to be seen. If you have a mask please wear it when you arrive at the office. If you do not have a mask we will give you one. Please wear your mask the entire time you are in the office. Once you enter the office you will have an opportunity to use hand sanitizer or wash your hands. Hopefully, you already pre-registered so we can get your appointment started right away. Lastly, we will check your temperature. If it is >100.4 we will need to reschedule your appointment.
Pre-Register
Before your visit we encourage you to pre-register online by visiting our registration page via our HIPAA compliant secure link, you will be able to enter your medical history and insurance information, saving you 10 to 20 minutes and decreasing your exposure.
Screening Questions
Once you have your mask on we will ask you the following screening questions.
In the past 2 weeks, have you experienced any of the following?
Social Distancing
Please maintain the recommended 6 foot separation as much as possible. You will notice we have removed some of our chairs to maintain appropriate separation which gives us less seating. Therefore, we ask that you come alone to your exam. If you need a driver or are accompanying a child that is having an exam please limit additional people to one additional person.
We look forward to Seeing You!
